Lecture on Harmful Effects of Stubble Burning and Tree Plantation Drive

A lecture on the Ill Effects of Stubble Burning was organized at Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Padhana under the Crop Residue Management Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Vipin Kumari, Principal.
The resource person Dr. Deepak Kumar from Govt. College, Sector-14, Karnal, highlighted the adverse effects of stubble burning on human health, animals, and soil fertility. He motivated students to spread awareness about sustainable farming practices.
After the lecture, a Tree Plantation Drive was carried out in the Herbal Garden of the college, where teachers and students actively participated. Principal Dr. Vipin Kumari appreciated the efforts of the committee and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
