College Students Trained in Disaster Management and First Aid by Youth Red Cross and Disaster Management Cell.

A one day workshop on Disaster Management and First Aid was organized at Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya Padha by the Youth Red Cross Society and Disaster Management Cell on May 17.Students were trained in handling various types of disasters like earthquakes fires and chemical attacks. Practical demonstrations on first aid techniques such as CPR bandaging and fracture care were given. The workshop also included role plays and live drills to prepare students for real life emergencies. Members of the State Disaster Response Force were also present to assist and educate.
